Our apartment in Istanbul was near multiple mosques, each of which played their own ezan, or call to prayer, to summon the faithful at set times during the day. We caught this Ögle (midday call) from our balcony.

Here is a schedule and the name of each call in Turkish and Arabic, respectively, from BlueMosque.co

Call name Call time
Imsak/Fajr Two hours before dawn
Güneş/Tulu Dawn
Ögle/Zuhr Midday
Ikindi/Asr Afternoon
Aksam/Maghrib Sunset
Yatsi/Isha Evening, right before the last light of day disappears

We used a white noise app and slept soundly through all calls.
